Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hamara Deals ("we", "us") handles personal data when you use hamaradeals.com. We operate from India and process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

What we collect

• Details you give us: your email address if you subscribe to deal alerts, and the name, email and message you send through our contact form.
• Usage data: pages viewed, deals clicked, approximate location at city level, device type, browser and referring website.
• Cookies and similar technology: used to remember preferences, measure traffic and attribute affiliate clicks to retailers.

We do not ask for and do not store payment details, card numbers, UPI IDs, Aadhaar or PAN. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own website.

Why we use it

• To show and improve deal listings and search results.
• To send deal alert emails you have asked for.
• To respond to your enquiries.
• To measure which deals are useful and to receive affiliate commissions.
• To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.

Who we share it with

We share limited data with analytics providers, email delivery providers and retailer affiliate networks (such as those run by Amazon.in, Flipkart, Myntra and similar stores). These partners receive click and conversion information, not your inbox contents. We never sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by Indian law or a valid order from a competent authority.

Retailer sites are separate

When you tap "Get Deal", you leave Hamara Deals. The retailer's own privacy policy governs everything you do on their site, including the details you enter at checkout.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to privacy@hamaradeals.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Retention and security

We keep subscriber emails until you unsubscribe, and enquiry records for up to 24 months. Data is stored on secured servers with access limited to people who need it.

Children

Hamara Deals is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data without verifiable parental consent.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top always shows the current version.
